New social facilities put into operation

Pap and Chust districts of Namangan region, within the framework of the Rural Infrastructure Development project, hosted a grand opening of new educational facilities.

The event was attended by the Director of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Zafar Urakov, the Hokim of Chust district Bekzod Khamdamov, the First Deputy Hokim of Pap district Sherali Kasimov, representatives of partners, mahalla activists.

An additional building for 240 places was built for school No. 17. Works worth 2.9 billion UZS have been completed here. School No. 22 will now have more space, and the work performed amounted to 2.7 billion UZS. These facilities, located in “Tepakorgon” and “Iman Ota” mahallas of Pap district, were put into operation on time and greatly pleased the residents preparing to celebrate the country’s Independence Day.

Also, on the eve of the new academic year, repair work worth 3.6 billion UZS was completed at school No. 12, designed for 610 places. Residents of the mahalla “Tinchlik” of Chust district took part in the solemn event.

It should be noted that these projects were selected based on the objective wishes and requirements of the population.

Guests of the events and residents were delighted with the conditions created in schools, which give children more opportunities to receive quality knowledge and master the skills of various professions.
