The Osiyo Sahovat Global farming enterprise in Zangiata District of Tashkent Region has 51 hectares of cultivation area. The team of the farm has been over-fulfilling contractual commitments in the sale of grain, fruits and vegetables to the government. This year, too, they have harvested a rich yield of grain. These days, the members of the farm attach a particular significance to harvesting, without losses, the plums, apples, peaches and other fruits grown in a ten-hectare garden. The raised income is intended to invest into the livestock farming to increase the cattle head and poultry.
For the past period, the income generated from grain cultivation as well as the soft loan provided by the commercial bank for 750 million soums, unused lands were smoothed out and a modern freezing warehouse with a capacity of 1,200 tons was built. It currently stores agricultural goods grown at the Osiyo Sahovat Global and other farming enterprises.
“The modern equipment of our warehouse allows for freezing the goods by 30 degrees,” says the head of the farm Akmal Yunusov. “Such a temperature facilitates long-term and quality storage of not only fruits and vegetables, but also meat and meat products.”
Around 60 new jobs are projected to be created at the farming enterprise owing to the development of other agricultural segments.
