The workshop was attended by employees of State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, certified appraisers, heads of international training companies and representatives of training centers.
Specialists discussed prospects for implementing a modern system of quality standards ISO 9001, as well as studied requirements for joining international public organizations of professional evaluation, such as Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Participants were particularly interested in possibility of adopting unified national assessment standards integrated with international assessment standards. Experts also forwarded their proposals for development of evaluation activities in the country and identified the main problems.
“We are working on implementation of a new management system for quality standards ISO 9001 in appraisal companies’ activities”, says D. Ismatullayeva, specialist of the State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan. “These standards are especially important, since to attract investment in the economy of Uzbekistan, highly qualified specialists-appraisers and appraisal companies are needed that can inspire confidence among foreign investors. Training of domestic appraisers is carried out in accordance with specialized programs of international public organizations of professional evaluation.
Following the event, experts offered their solutions to existing problems that hinder the development of evaluation activities.
