First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov has held talks with the leadership of EDPF.

First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov has held talks with the leadership of the Economic Development Promotion Fund (EDPF) of Korea Eximbank, via video conference.

According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, on the agenda of the talks were current issues related to the implementation of joint projects, as well as the possibility of enhancing cooperation through the development of new promising areas and sectors.

During the dialogue, the South Korean side was presented the concept of new projects in promising areas for consideration, such as mining and processing of minerals, the production of biopharmaceutical drugs and other industries. 

Following the talks, a vector for further interaction was identified – a joint study of the technical and economic aspects of the projects presented to form a package of specific agreements within the framework of Uzbekistan – Korean economic cooperation.
