21:39 / 2025-01-14

As part of the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ilhom Mahkamov, met with the President and CEO of JETEX, Adel Mardini.

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan and JETEX.

JETEX, founded in 2005, serves customers in more than 50 locations worldwide, including the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa and America.

The document provides for the implementation of promising projects in civil aviation, including an investment project based on Tashkent – Eastern Airport, which involves servicing VIP and CIP clients using the FBO model based on public-private partnership.

As part of the project, the new center will provide services for repairing, selling, and storing business class aircraft, as well as air taxis and VIP taxis in small aircraft.

The project provides for creating more than 200 highly qualified jobs.
