The President got acquainted with the presentation of significant projects planned to be implemented in Andijan region.

In cooperation with Chinese investors, work is underway on 26 projects worth $1.7 billion. They cover essential sectors such as energy, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, textiles, building materials, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, education and infrastructure.

The construction of mini-hydroelectric power stations, housing and recreational facilities, the production of electric buses and batteries for them, porcelain stoneware and concrete panels, medicines, the cultivation of cherries, berries, and other projects will have a tremendous economic effect and create many jobs.

The Head of state talked with Chinese investors. They emphasized the achievement of a high level of strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China and also confirmed the high interest of entrepreneurs in working in Uzbekistan due to the vast opportunities for doing business.
