Namangan region’s Hokim Anvarjon Otakhodjayev received members of the Turkish delegation led by Kemalettin Aydin.

The parties exchanged views on the ongoing joint work in the medical sphere and plans for the future. The Turkish side proposed opening modern clinics in Namangan specializing in treating cardiac diseases, producing pharmaceutical products, and supplying medical equipment. A memorandum of cooperation was signed with USHAŞ International Corporation.

The guests visited the Namangan Branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Cardiology and Boburshoh Medical Center and highly appreciated the provided services.

Special emphasis was placed on the development of medical education in Namangan. Issues of cooperation with Namangan State University and Implus Private Higher Education Institution were discussed.
