The Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with representatives of Japanese IT companies.
Toshiaki Tateishi, Vice Chair of the Japan Internet Providers Association, informed about the organization’s activities, tasks, and projects. The purpose of the meeting was to study Uzbekistan’s achievements in digital technologies and digital education and discuss and exchange views in this direction.

Sherzod Shermatov proposed implementing promising projects in digital education and establishing cooperation. He also spoke about the importance of launching projects to support talented youth and teach them modern IT professions.
The issues discussed included increasing the prospects for implementing projects in cooperation with the Japanese side, creating an outsourcing zone and IT services, and organizing jobs for young people.

Following the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the available opportunities in digital education development and the implementation of joint projects. They also agreed to develop appropriate proposals.
