Uzbekistan plans to introduce a development that can recognize a stroke in the first four hours.
The new project of the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of Uzbekistan will be implemented jointly with Kazakhstan’s Cerebra.ai Ltd. Company. The parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, according to which the Cerebra System for automated diagnosis of ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes will be used in the pilot project for the provision of medical services using artificial intelligence.
The artificial intelligence in the Cerebra platform, after integration with CT scanners installed in medical institutions, can recognize a stroke in the first four hours. It can recognize changes in the density of tissue in the nucleus of a stroke, correlate with the rest of intact brain tissue.
Chairman of the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of Uzbekistan Rovshan Izamov noted that the first stage of the pilot project will be implemented in the next two weeks. Experts of the National Chamber will analyze the work of the unique Cerebra System in Kazakhstan.
