The Ministry of Justice hosted the presentation of a new project on introduction of effective mechanisms and measures to combat corruption in justice bodies and institutions.

On October 10, the Ministry of Justice hosted the presentation of a new project on introduction of effective mechanisms and measures to combat corruption in justice bodies and institutions.

The goal of the project, implemented with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme, is the introduction of anti-corruption compliance systems in the activities of the Ministry of Justice, the Agency for Public Services and the Intellectual Property Agency, as well as the territorial justice authorities.

KPMG experts emphasized that the implementation of the project will allow to implement international anti-corruption standards and practices, and increase transparency and quality of government agency management. The experience gained in the effective implementation of anti-corruption measures can be used in other agencies to form a common vector for combating corruption in the country.

The Ministry of Justice is the first state body to initiate the implementation of a compliance system in accordance with international standards.
