Today, as a result of consistent reforms spearheaded under the leadership of President Islam Karimov, the private sector has been playing an important role not only in shaping the gross domestic product, but also in securing the employment of population and uplifting the wellbeing of citizens. To date, the goods produced by local manufacturers has been providing for the abundance of our markets as much as making a remarkable input into increasing the exports potential of our country.

It was the central subject matter of the seminar that has taken place in Karshi, organized to discuss the implementation course of the presidential decree “On Measures to Secure a Reliable Protection of Private Property, Small Business and Private Entrepreneurship, to Remove Barriers for Their Accelerated Development” signed 15 May earlier this year, as well as its significance in the evolution of this sector.

“In accordance with the Decree, amendments have been introduced starting from 1 July 2015 to the time frames of routine inspections of economic entities,” says the prosecutor of Kashkadarya Region Salom Samadov.

The hokim of the region Zafar Ruziev delivered a keynote speech at the event.
