On May 2, Arton and Wehrhahn Gmbh signed a contract for the supply of German production lines for two new plants for the production of autoclaved aerated concrete in Uzbekistan. The event took place at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Berlin.
According to the O’zsanoatqurilishmateriallari Association, under the document signed as part of the Uzbekistan – Germany Business Forum, delivery of a production line for two factories in the cities of Urgench and Andijan is planned for 2023. Their launch is scheduled for the end of 2024. The production capacity of the Andijan plant will be 600 thousand cubic meters per year, the Urgench plant – 300 thousand cubic meters per year. The total cost is 46 million euros.
Representatives of the companies also signed a memorandum on the construction of two new plants in the cities of Navoi and Termez with the supply of a production line, the launch of which is scheduled for 2024-2025.
Aerated concrete plants in Termez and Navoi will also be equipped with German production lines. The annual capacity of the Termez plant will be 300 thousand cubic meters, the Navoi plant – 600. A plant producing fiber cement panels with a capacity of 2 million 250 thousand square meters per year will also be built in Navoi. The total cost of the project is 75 million euros.
