An international presentation workshop took place devoted to one of the largest and most prestigious events in the People’s Republic of China, the Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair).
The event was organized to strengthen trade-economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China and create new opportunities for local entrepreneurs. Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Dilshod Rasulov, representatives of relevant government agencies, business circles, industry associations, as well as employees of diplomatic missions, attended the event.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Rasulov emphasized the progressive development of economic partnership between the two countries. He noted that the Canton Fair serves as an essential platform for local entrepreneurs to enter the Chinese market, find new customers, and build export potential.
Head of the Canton Fair delegation, Exhibition Director of China Foreign Trade Centre Group, Liu Xiaomin, spoke in detail about the history of the fair, its new format and conditions of participation (online and offline), as well as the introduction of additional facilities and support mechanisms for Uzbekistan companies.

In his presentation, Liu Xiaomin called on Uzbekistan entrepreneurs to actively participate in the fair, stressing that this will allow them to establish direct contacts with reliable buyers in China and enter new markets.
The event also included an active dialogue between the entrepreneurs of the two countries. Practical directions for launching promising joint projects and increasing trade turnover were discussed.
