Measures are being taken to radically improve the environmental situation in the Aral Sea region, to establish a healthy lifestyle for the population.

The adoption of a special resolution by the UN General Assembly declaring the Aral Sea region a zone of environmental innovation and technology will turn this region into a unique platform for launching innovative projects and initiatives aimed at the development of all spheres.

Within the framework of the priority tasks outlined in the resolution, several practical activities are being carried out to improve the environment in the region, including the introduction of energy-saving and water-saving technologies in Muynak district.

In particular, at the initiative of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a New Muynak Innovation Park was created on 1 hectare, where more than a thousand ornamental trees were planted. Water-saving technologies are used for irrigation.

These trees growing in the desert will undoubtedly serve as one of the important sources of preserving the ecology and environment of the city of Muynak.
