The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing, together with Uzbekistan – China Trade Association, organized a roundtable discussion.

The event was attended by leaders of large industrial companies such as China CAMCE Engineering, TBEA, China Energy International Construction, China Civil Engineering Construction and China Huadian Corporation. The participants exchanged views on ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan and their results, the prospects for industrial, trade and economic ties between the two countries.

New projects were presented that can be jointly implemented in the pharmaceutical, textile, agricultural, chemical and leather industries of Uzbekistan, and special business proposals from the Chinese side were received.

Following the event, large Chinese companies reported that the submitted investment projects would be considered as soon as possible and additional talks would be held with the Uzbek side.
