As part of his visit to Türkiye, Eldor Shermanov, Rector of the Uzbek National Institute of Musical Arts named after Yunus Rajabi, held a meeting with Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

The parties discussed issues related to expanding cultural cooperation and launching joint projects. 

At the meeting, issues of the development of cultural exchange between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, and the promotion of cultural diplomacy through musical art, were also addressed.
