In the town of Baхt of Sirdaryo Region, the Baxttexfarm limited liability company (LLC) has started working. The company specializes in the production of medical roller bandage, cotton wool and yarn.

It has been noted that consistent reforms being implemented in the country are giving weighty results in the further development of the national economy, particularly small business and private entrepreneurship, and most importantly in providing employment and raising the living standards of the population.

The presidential decree dated 15 May 2015 “On measures to secure the reliable protection of private property, small business and private entrepreneurship and to remove barriers to their accelerated development” is an important guidance document for action in this area.

At the enterprise the production capacity of which is 60 million linear metres of various bandage products, more than 3 thousand tonnes of cotton wool and 2.6 thousand tonnes of yarn a year, 500 jobs have been created.

And 90 per cent of its employees are graduates of vocational colleges. Today the enterprise is producing goods for the domestic market and for medical establishments.

“Soon we will start exporting products to abroad. For this purpose, we will expand the enterprise even more and set up new workshops. Work on the installation of modern machine tools is nearing completion,” says the head of the enterprise, Anvar Mamatqulov.
