New educational aids for women

The State Committee for Family and Women, together with the Family and Women Research Institute, organized a presentation of books and brochures dedicated to women, the benefits and opportunities created for them on the occasion of October 15 – the International Day of Rural Women, in Tashkent.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Chairperson of the State Committee for Family and Women Zulaykho Mahkamova, Director of the Family and Women Research Institute Nodira Egamberdiyeva noted that the issue of honoring women has been raised to the level of state policy in Uzbekistan.

Taking into account the real situation, the Family and Women Research Institute prepared for publication more than a hundred titles of educational aids on strengthening families and comprehensive support for women.

The scientific team of the Institute created educational aids on the occasion of the International Day of Rural Women.

The educational aid “Issues of improving the legal culture of women” is dedicated to supporting women, ongoing reforms to ensure their active participation in public life and the role of civil society institutions in improving their legal culture. It focuses on the role of the mahalla institution in improving the legal culture of women.

The educational aid “Methodological recommendations for providing psychological assistance to housewives” is intended for mahalla activists on women’s issues working with women suffering from the “housewife syndrome”, psychological problems, as well as psychologists of the Republican Center for the Rehabilitation and Adaptation of Women and their territorial divisions.

At the event, authors, scientists and experts spoke about the importance of new educational aids.
