... During the war years, many soldiers died in the Netherlands. A symbolic cemetery in memory of thousands of fearless warriors was created there. 101 soldiers from Central Asia were among them. Until recently, there was no definite information about most of them, and their families then received only a paper with the word “missing”.

Researches on the missing soldiers which are being carried out for 20 years by researcher Remco Reiding are worthy of respect. UzA Correspondent contacted him and talked about it. Remco Reiding regrets that relatives of many Uzbek soldiers have not yet been found.
