New Center opens at Amity University

The opening of IT Incubation Center and presentation of the Community of Honorary Consultants has taken place at Amity University in Tashkent.

The event was attended by the Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Sadikov, as well as heads of agencies and leading domestic companies, representatives of international and local higher education institutions.

Shukhrat Sadikov noted that the center will become a platform for practical implementation by students of the theoretical knowledge gained, and the Community will be their consultant. The community will support students who want to turn their startups into companies.

The center has all the conditions for the implementation of business plans and the establishment of strong cooperation with IT specialists. The tasks of the Community of Honorary Consultants will be to work out proposals for further development of the university, ensure collaboration between education and production.

Amity University is ranked top 300 universities in Asia and 1000 best universities in the world. The branch of the university in Tashkent was opened in 2019. 780 students study here in the areas of information technology, computer engineering, economics, tourism and business management.
