Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On civil defence”, “On protecting the population from natural and anthropogenic emergency situations” and “On rescue service and rescuers’ charter” serve as important programme documents in this sphere.

This big complex consisting of many buildings and facilities was built in line with a 4-billion som construction project. There is a training centre for people and officials here with all the necessary conditions for people and managers of enterprises and establishments to train and increase their knowledge about how to act correctly in emergency situations. Its stadium and training hall have necessary equipment for employees’ good physical and professional preparedness.

Rescuers have a big responsibility in emergency situations. Their successful action directly depends not only on their professional qualifications but also on conditions created for them. The complex offers wide possibilities for rescue service detachments. 12 houses consisting of three rooms each have also been built for employees. The keys to these new homes were given to them during the event.

“There are all the modern conveniences in this house. Children’s playground and a sport field here are of importance to our children’s good physical development. The complex is located near a pre-school day care establishment and a general education school,” says F.Omonov, deputy chief of the regional emergencies department.

The complex also includes a building consisting of all the necessary service rooms for the Bukhara town emergencies department.

The hokim (governor) of Bukhara Region, O.Barnoyev, made a speech at the event.
