New book shop commissioned in Ellikqala District
In the run-up to the New Year holiday, a new book shop was put into use in Ellikqala District of the Republic of Qoraqalpoghiston, north-western Uzbekistan.
In the run-up to the New Year holiday, a new book shop was put into use in Ellikqala District of the Republic of Qoraqalpoghiston, north-western Uzbekistan.In this shop opened by the Bilim-servis LLC, more than 5 thousand 500 various books are on sale. An electronic library and a computer study room established in this shop are especially of interest to young people.
“In our electronic library, electronic and audio versions of nearly 10 thousand books are available. This shop was built thanks to a 180-million som preferential credit obtained from a commercial bank. In future, we are going to expand our work even further and turn this place into a world of books,” says the chairman of the Bilim-servis LLC, B.Kurbanbayev.
In the library’s sections entitled “Fairy tales for children”, “Help for prospective students”, “Classics of world literature”, “Works of Uzbek literature” and “Methodological handbooks”, book lovers can buy books that they are interested in. In this shop, stationery items and office equipment can also be acquired. Here 12 young people were provided with jobs.
In this district, the administrative buildings of the Tuproqqala and Qavatqala neighbourhood citizens’ gatherings and a trade centre in the steppe village of Guldursin were also commissioned, and these are New Year gifts for the local population.
