Fund for supporting development of “Digital trust” digital economy and “Bitfury” multi-blockchain company signed a memorandum on strategic partnership for implementation of blockchain technology in Uzbekistan’s public sector.

Bitfury Company will help to implement Exonum open source designed to create applications based on blockchain, in the activities of state bodies of Uzbekistan.

Bitfury Company has developed a framework for creation of Exonum blockchain which is used in government projects in Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan and the United States. This protocol allows to create secure and reliable blockchains in which all the nodes that generate blocks are known in advance.

At the same time, the blockchain, built on Exonum, works exclusively on computing power of nodes-validators interested in operation of this system. A private blockchain deployed on pre-defined nodes eliminates possibility of sudden hard modification of source code, clogging of transaction pool and other problems typical for open blockchains. And finally, it works much faster than public blockchains, especially, it processes several thousand transactions per second against several tens processed by latter.
