Members of the Uzbekistan national team won 8 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal at the international junior sambo tournament held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
In particular, Uzbekistan’s athletes Stepan Zyablov, Alan Kim, Akmal Azimov, Fazliddin Lutfiddinov, Vladislav Te, Ivan Zyablov, Firdavs Lutfiddinov, and Rustam Goziyev stood on the top step of the podium. Imron Khabibullayev and Arseniy Odilov won silver and bronze medals, respectively.

At the international tournament in memory of Vitaly Gordeev, held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan’s sambo athletes, under the guidance of coach Shavkat Jurayev, earned 1 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
In the +98 kg weight category, Ulugbek Muhammadiyev won a gold medal in combat sambo and a bronze medal in sambo competitions.
In women’s combat sambo, Rukhshona Azimova won a bronze medal and also claimed a silver medal in amateur competitions. In their respective weight categories, Ibrokhim Khayrullayev and Tulqin Bakhronov earned silver medals, while Fazliddin Azizjonov won bronze.
