On May 24, Uzbekistan MFA hosted a meeting between the head of the Department for Cooperation with European Countries and EU Institutions Nodir Ganiyev and the Ambassador of Finland with residence in Helsinki Ilkka Räisänen.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, as well as issues of preparation for the next round of Uzbekistan – Finland political consultations to be held in Tashkent on May 27.

It was noted that this event will contribute to further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Finland, the identification of new areas of cooperation of mutual interest.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue working together on the bilateral agenda.
