According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, during the visit, meetings were held with Deputy Director General of IAEA Najat Mokhtar, heads of companies in healthcare and digitalization of medical services VAMED and AME International GmbH, as well as banking-financial institutions of Austria.

The current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the organization was discussed and plans for development of radiation therapy in the country and improvement of nuclear medicine were determined.

The parties also discussed the creation of a Technopark with the assistance of the IAEA and national education center with a simulation room equipped with modern radiation and radiotherapy equipment for training national personnel.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan also organized a roundtable discussion with participation of the organization's experts in nuclear medicine, during which issues of radical reformation of radiation diagnostics and therapy, creation of a network of medical centers for radiation therapy of cancer and a national education center in this area were discussed.
