On December 3, 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov held a videoconference with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Adel Mirdad, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The current state and prospects for developing cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres were considered during the conversation.

The sides exchanged views on the schedule of the upcoming joint events at various levels.

Special attention was paid to joint implementation of investment projects in energy, renewable energy sources, agriculture, tourism and pharmaceuticals.

Current aspects of further development of inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries were discussed.

Other issues of mutual interest were also considered during the negotiations.
