Negotiations on Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan state border demarcation

On July 22-28, 2019, Bukhara hosted the regular meeting of working groups of Joint Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission on delimitation and demarcation of the State border between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties considered proposals for implementation of project demarcation line of the State border in its individual sections and agreed at subsequent meetings to submit solutions.
The negotiations were organized at a high level and were held in friendship and mutual understanding atmosphere.
Following the meeting, heads of delegations Tulkin Abdullayev and Mamed Mamedov signed the final Protocol.
