Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency hosted a meeting between the Director of the Agency Abdulla Azizov and representatives of the Swiss pharmaceutical company Novartis Pharma Services AG.

The parties discussed the prospects for establishing cooperation in cancer treatment.

The head of the representative office of Novartis Pharma Services AG in Uzbekistan, Hristo Trunchev, introduced the activities and goals of the company, emphasizing that they are interested in establishing direct trade relations without the intervention of distributors. In turn, Mr. Azizov informed about the mechanism for implementing public procurement.

Issues related to prospects for localization of production, opportunities for cooperation were also discussed at the meeting.
