According to the National Statistics Committee, almost 5,000 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Malaysia for tourism purposes in January-June 2025.

This represents an increase of approximately 1,000 people, or 26.4%, compared to the same period last year.

The purposes of travel by Uzbekistan citizens to Malaysia during the first half of the year were as follows:

Tourism – 4,220 people

Visiting relatives – 478 people

Official visits – 185 people

Study – 93 people

Medical treatment – 5 people.
