In a number of developed countries, particularly in the UK, the period of study in general education institutions is 12 years, and in Uzbekistan – 11 years. In order to eliminate this difference, NCUK Foundation annual educational program was developed jointly with a consortium of 16 leading universities of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. This program is the only one in the CIS and with its help youth will deeply study English, mathematics and economics.
Graduates of colleges, lyceums and schools will be accepted at the branch of NCUK Foundation on the basis of examinations. Education will last a year and will be carried out on a fee-contract basis (payment in the amount of 7 thousand USD). Graduating young people will be accepted without exams not only in the universities of Uzbekistan, but also in the leading higher education institutions of the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia.
The branch is opened by the British International Education Association.
At the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the British International Education Association and Uzbekistan Youth Union. Every year, 10 talented young people will be admitted at the branch of the NCUK Foundation on a grant basis.
