National Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Uzbekistan is a reliable partner of many domestic enterprises, providing them with loans and benefits for the development and expansion of the business.
Thanks to the attention of the state, several privileges have been introduced for entrepreneurs wishing to engage in the production of import-substituting products. They were also used by an enterprise for the production of special high-pressure hoses for agricultural machinery. Previously, such products were imported from Ukraine, China, and Russia.
Disel Detal Savdo is one of a kind in Uzbekistan. The company cooperates with NBU and, at the expense of a loan provided by the bank, purchased special equipment from China.
The enterprise, located on two hectares, produces 70 types of products, employing about 40 people.
The production capacity of the enterprise allows covering not only the local but also the foreign market. The export geography includes Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. Negotiations are also underway with Russia, India, and Tajikistan.
“In 2017, NBU allocated a loan of $1,358,000 for the development of our enterprise”, says Abdulla Matyakubov, Director of Disel Detal Savdo. – We purchased equipment from Germany, Russia, and China, as well as the raw materials necessary for the production, and in 2019 started the production of high-pressure hoses that were previously imported.
The company, in cooperation with NBU, plans to increase the range of products, employ more people, while actively expanding the geography and export volumes.

Another enterprise enhancing its production with the help of NBU is Toshkent Plast Polimer LLC, established in 2013. The main activity is the production of various plastic products. The company annually supplies over 10 million products.
The company currently manufactures 36 types of plastic products. These include boxes for storing and transporting fruits and vegetables, buckets for consumer and industrial needs, as well as toys. Bumpers for cars of UzAuto Motors plant, garbage cans for the Toza Hudud project are being also produced. The company has installed more than 20 types of modern injection molding machines for molding plastic products weighing from 0.05 to 15 kg.

“Our enterprise is located in Bektemir district of Tashkent”, says Khabibulla Rasulov, Sales Manager of Toshkent Plast Polimer LLC. – Since 2015 we have been cooperating with the National Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Uzbekistan. The bank has allocated a loan of $500,000, and the company was equipped with advanced technologies. We export ninety percent of our products. In the future, we also plan to work with NBU.
Currently, exports have been established to Tajikistan. Its geography is planned to expand. Negotiations are underway with Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
