At the Berlin Ethnological Museum, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany, and the diplomatic missions of Central Asian countries, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan organized events dedicated to Navruz.
Officials of the Federal Republic of Germany, the diplomatic corps accredited in Berlin, representatives of this country’s public and scientific circles, and our compatriots took part in the festive celebration.
Representatives of the German Federal Foreign Office and the Berlin Ethnological Museum welcomed the guests.
Uzbekistan diplomats noted that special attention is paid to preserving our values and passing them on to the next generations. Every year, on the eve of this holiday, creative work and charity events are carried out.
Each participating country presented an information stand, national sweets, and an artistic program. The visitors were especially impressed by the cultural program presented under the slogan “With you, Navruz, the world will be illuminated with light!” Interesting quizzes, such as “What do you know about Uzbekistan?” and national games, increased the guests’ interest in Uzbekistan’s culture, traditions, and customs.
Uzbekistan’s stand, decorated in national style, also aroused particular interest among visitors. Guests were informed about the ancient history, rich culture and traditions of the Uzbek people, and the tourism potential of the regions. Booklets and other materials about the country’s modern and tourism development in Uzbekistan were distributed.
