Tashkent House of Photography at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan hosts a photo exhibition “The world will light up with you, Navruz!”.

It is organized by the Uzbekistan National News Agency (UzA) in cooperation with the Uzarchive Agency, the Uzbekistan Arts Academy, and other organizations.

Director General of Uzbekistan National News Agency Abdusaid Kuchimov and others noted that in the conditions of the New Uzbekistan, where the value of a person increases, attention to millennial traditions intensifies, the role and importance of Navruz increases.

All countries of the world highly appreciate the incomparable significance of the holiday on March 21, recognized by the UN General Assembly as the International Day of Nowruz, which serves good and development.

The photos presented at the exhibition demonstrate how difficult it was to achieve the resumption of the tradition of celebrating Navruz, despite the persecution in Soviet times, and this springtime has always been in the hearts of the Uzbek people.

Visitors can find photo reports on the wide celebration of Navruz, fascinating landscapes of Mother Nature, photo etudes, and photo essays on the role and significance of the spring festival in the lives of Uzbekistan’s people.

The photo exhibition is very popular among Uzbekistan people and foreign visitors.
