The main festival on the occasion of Navruz celebrations of Surkhandarya region was held in the Park of the Palace of Arts in the city of Termez.

The Hokim of the region Ulugbek Kasimov sincerely congratulated the people on the holiday, and wished peace to our homeland, prosperity to our country, prosperous life to our people, and perseverance in our ongoing reforms.

At the main festive event of the region, held in Termez, each district of the region organized various exhibitions. Sumalak and other spring dishes were prepared. Artists from the capital, folk groups, concert programs of talented young people, national sports games gave everyone a festive mood.

The most famous wrestlers in different weight categories competed at the Qorabayir Horse Training School in Termez district.

The competition with the grand prize of a Gentra car, 12 camels, 12 horses, 12 oxen, cash prizes and other valuable prizes made a great impression on wrestling fans.
