The fist stage of the triathlon championship of Uzbekistan has taken place in Andijon (in the eastern part of the country).

In the championship conducted by Uzbekistan’s defence assistance organization Vatanparvar and Ministry for Culture and Sports, teams from the Republic of Qoraqalpoghiston,, regions and Tashkent were competing for a victory.

According to results of competitions among men and women in three age groups, Navoiy Region’s triathlon athletes are in first place, Andijon Region’s team in second place and Qashqadaryo’s athletes are in third place.

The winners and runners-up were given the awards they deserved.
