The IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in Serbia has ended.
The tournament was marked by historic achievements for Uzbekistan female boxers.
Navbakhor Khamidova won a silver medal in the -66 kg weight category, becoming the first-ever athlete from Uzbekistan to win such an award at the adult World Boxing Championships.

Farzona Fozilova, Sabina Boboqulova, and Feruza Kazakova each secured bronze medals.
Under the leadership of head coach Elshod Rasulov, the Uzbekistan national team concluded the tournament with one silver and three bronze medals, setting a new record for women’s boxing in Uzbekistan.

The champions were awarded $100,000 each, silver medalists received $50,000, and bronze medalists took home $25,000. Additionally, all athletes who reached the quarterfinals received $10,000 for the first time in the championship.
