Today, the nationwide charity hashar began across the country.

In the early morning, our compatriots started landscaping of parks and alleys, streets and mahallas, territories of multi-storey houses, sacred places of worship. All citizens of our country, regardless of nationality, age, profession, together in unison work in order to beautify towns and villages.

In the nationwide charity hashar being held within the framework of landscaping and greenery planting month, in accordance with the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan from 7 March 2015, labour collectives of all enterprises, organizations and institutions are taking an active part.

The project of “24 sapling for the 24th anniversary of independence” widely implemented across the country, calls all our fellow citizens to make a contribution.

Special staff has been created at the Main Department of forestry of the Ministry of agriculture and water resources for the purposes of conducting the month at a high level. During the hashar, forest farms will supply more than 17 million saplings.

During the nationwide charity hashar, it is planned to improve more than 43 thousand hectares of territories, to clear the irrigation ditches with a total length of about 26 thousand kilometers, as well as to plant a variety of fruit and ornamental trees, flower seedlings.

According to tradition, the elderly and persons with disabilities, low-income and large families are being provided with material and moral support.

Young people from Kamolot public youth movement are also taking an active part in landscaping of towns and villages.
