Uzbekistan delegation led by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Joint Stock Company Uzsuvtaminot Khurshid Rakhmatullayev and the Chief Specialist of the Secretariat for the Integrated Development of Territories, Communications, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Klichkhanov visited the Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-Water).

“This is the second visit of JSC Uzsuvtaminot representatives to Korea to discuss the idea of ​​creating a National Water Academy in Uzbekistan”, says Akmal Muradov, Head of the Information Service of the joint-stock company.

In 2020, the First Deputy Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzsuvtaminot Sakhib Saifnazarov has already visited Korea. The purpose of this visit is to study the agenda of the Korean – Uzbekistan forum, which will be held within the framework of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Korea.

Members of the delegation got acquainted with a presentation on the activities of the K-Water, educational infrastructure, including a training center, a water distribution network center, and a pilot water treatment plant. A workshop was held to discuss the implementation of a further action plan for the implementation of a specialized training program in water supply in Uzbekistan.

The visit will further strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea.
