National Costumes Festival in Tashkent
Hunarmand Association and several organizations organized a festival showcasing national costumes in Tashkent.
About 100 traditional costumes promoting Uzbek national customs and traditions were presented at the event, which was held to attract public interest in national crafts, promote local traditions, and increase the tourist potential of Uzbekistan.

The chapan, a dress and vest sewn from scraps, and metal jewelry attracted the special attention of foreign guests.

The participants noted that national costumes are not only part of the material heritage, but also the pride of the people, and that it is necessary to raise the culture towards them among young people, especially girls.
The festival program also included performances by artists and masterclasses by artisans.
