The National Cinematography Development Center, a non-state non-profit organization under the founding of the Cinematography Agency and the Film Industry Representatives Union of Uzbekistan, will be created in Uzbekistan by the Presidential Decree “On measures to raise the cinema art and film industry to a qualitatively new level and further improve the system of state support for the industry” of April 7, 2021.

Based on the agency’s orders, the center will organize the participation of national films in international film festivals and at prestigious film markets around the world. The center will also regularly inform the public about its activities, in particular, about each funded film, the amount and terms of funding.
