The National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Yonsei University of the Republic of Korea have held virtual talks to discuss areas of interaction.
The meeting with Yonsei University representatives was organized with the support of the KOICA office in Uzbekistan.
Chairman of the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ravshan Izamov noted that the introduction of innovations into the healthcare system of the country is the main task of the state structure headed by him.
In turn, Associate Research Professor in the Department of Medical Humanities and Social Sciences at Yonsei University College of Medicine Sangchul Yoon emphasized that the Republic of Korea at the present stage of international cooperation attaches great importance to the new Northern Project, which includes Uzbekistan. At the same time, education and medicine are identified as the main priorities here.
Yonsei University has launched a joint project with Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. Representatives of the Korean University noted that the project is designed for four years and the support of the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of Uzbekistan can help achieve greater efficiency of the plans.
The parties discussed an innovative approach to nursing education. They noted the importance of implementing a pilot project on an innovative model of nursing education based on one of the colleges in Uzbekistan. An agreement was reached on further development of this area.
The possibility of joint work in the development of clinical protocols, the work on which is coordinated by the National Chamber, was also discussed.
The Korean partners expressed great interest in the projects implemented by the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan and noted the need for a detailed study of areas of the upcoming partnership.
