Another five thousand sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be given to healthcare professionals by the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the support of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TICA).

Another five thousand sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be given to healthcare professionals by the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the support of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TICA).

PPE kits include glasses, gloves and masks of two types – disposable protective and reusable respirators.

The first batch of humanitarian cargo, which also included five thousand sets of PPE, has been received by the National Chamber on April 30.

It was noted that Uzbekistan has made significant progress in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic. Gradually softening the quarantine measures is already being introduced, but it is still necessary to comply with necessary sanitary-hygienic requirements.

New kits will be immediately transferred to medical clinics in Tashkent city and regions.
