A solemn festive event in the mobilization conscription reserve of Syrdarya region was held under the motto “National Army – shield of the Motherland, guardian of peace” on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defenders of the Motherland Day.

Representatives of the Department of Youth Affairs of Syrdarya region, the regional council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the Department of Defense, the Hokimiyat of Syrdarya region, military units, and young military personnel attended the event.

The participants spoke about the importance of equipping the army with advanced weapons and equipment, improving the combat capability and moral training of military personnel, and ongoing reforms, and paid special attention to the vital role of each serviceman in ensuring the peace and security of the Motherland.

It was emphasized that every young soldier is responsible for ensuring peace and stability in Uzbekistan.

A group of servicemen who achieved high results were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.

Patriotic songs performed at the festive event lifted the participants’ spirits.
