QS Quacquarelli Symonds has published a rating of the best universities on the Asian continent – “QS Asia University Rankings 2026”.

Namangan State Technical University entered the ranking in 17th place among higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and ranks in the TOP-951-1000 overall. More than 1,500 universities from 25 Asian countries were evaluated; 557 of them appeared on the list for the first time.

The rating criteria are based on scientific potential, international prestige, the level of employment of graduates, indicators of the quality of the educational process, and international cooperation activities. By the relevant Resolution of the President of Uzbekistan of January 24, 2025, Namangan State Technical University, established based on the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology, the Namangan Institute of Civil Engineering, and the Namangan Institute of Textile Industry, focuses on the region’s needs for highly qualified engineering specialists.
