Namangan implements the international project on preschool education

On December 15, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On measures to implement the project “Improving the early childhood development” with the participation of the International Development Association, Global Partnerships in Education, Global Partnership for Results-Based Approaches”.

The $100.57 million worth project is aimed at expanding children's access to preschool education from an early age in 2020-2024, improving learning conditions in public preschool education institutions and systematically assessing the quality of education.

Trainings will be devoted to the introduction of a child-centered approach in the preschool education system of Uzbekistan, taking into account their age and individual characteristics, improving the professionalism of teachers, the quality of the educational process.

The event also included a four-day training workshop in Namangan with the participation of methodologists, teachers and specialists of Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regional departments of preschool education.
