On 27-29 October, Namangan hosted the Second International Honey Festival.

More than 100 entrepreneurs and specialists from neighboring countries, namely Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Russia, as well as about 200 local beekeepers, participated in the festival.

The festival’s main goal was to strengthen cooperation and create a platform for exchanging international experience in beekeeping and its industrialization through introducing innovative technologies.

As part of the event, 1000 kg of honey was donated to citizens with disabilities, low-income families, and women needing social protection.

This event is essential in further developing the region’s internal and external tourism potential.

More than 40 beekeepers who participated in the festival were awarded letters of gratitude and souvenirs.
