256 farms and 243 home-based workers have grown 2,894 boxes of silkworms this year in Pap district of Namangan region. During this period, silkworm growers plan to grow 165 tons of silkworm cocoons.

Currently, 2,894 boxes of silkworms have been produced in 10 hatcheries in the district and distributed to 2,875 home-based workers for rearing. Silk growers were given 100,000 soums in advance for each box.
