Nafosat 2020, aimed at promoting the culture of clothing among the population, especially young people, kicks off in Namangan.

National and modern fashion competition among young designers, as well as fashion show with participation of schoolchildren of Namangan Specialized Culture School were held on the first day of the festival, organized at the initiative of the Commission for Gender Equality of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan jointly with Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association, Ministry for Supporting Mahalla and Family, Ijtimoiy Fikr Center and Namangan Regional Hokimiyat.

The event also included a fashion show of brand firms and companies from Tashkent, Fergana and Namangan regions.

The main events of the festival, which will last until December 12, will be held in Shodiyona Complex in Namangan.
