A festive event has been organized at the Namangan-based Mehribonlik-Mercy Home (orphanage) no.26 timed to the International Day of Protection of Children.

It was stressed at the occasion that all the conveniences and opportunities are being created in Uzbekistan under the leadership of the President of our country for the physical and spiritual development of the younger generation, for the children to attain modern education and attendance of sports.

All these conditions are created in this Mehribonlik Home for the boys and girls who were left without the care of parents to grow up in an environment inferior to no other. Hobby clubs of computer literacy, “agile hands”, of preparation to the family life, music, sports (ping-pong, soccer, volleyball, handball, gymnastics, kick-boxing, etc.) operated at this mercy home to facilitate eventful and useful leisure for the children.

“We always feel the fraternal care of the head of our state,” says Shodiya Mashrabova, the Mehribonlik Home child, the 8-grader of the general education school no.31. “All the conditions are created in our home for us to be busy with favorite activities. I compose poems, and a collection of my poems, “Sprouts of Love”, has been published recently. I dream of making my own contribution to the glorification of our Motherland, to the development of culture and literature.”

A concert show prepared by inmates as well as a comedy play performed by actors of the Alisher Navoi Regional Theater of Musical Drama and Comedy were demonstrated at the festive event.

Gifts on behalf of the hokim of the region got distributed among the children at the festive table.

The Namangan Region hokim B.Yusupov delivered a speech at the occasion.
